The Principle Dojo of SGKA was originally overseen by Chief Instructor Sensei John Lambert, serving as the Honbu Dojo. After Sensei John's passing in 2010, leadership transitioned to Sensei Kenny Morrison, IOGKF 6th Dan and Chair of the SGKA, and Sensei Gary Adams, IOGKF 6th Dan of SGKA Kambukai. Founded in 2008 by Sensei John Lambert, the Chief Instructor of Scotland, the dojo offers training in traditional Okinawa Goju Ryu Karate to a wide age range, starting from 5 years old.
The Dojo is run by Sensei Kenny Morrison 6th Dan IOGKF, SGKA Kambukai and chair of the SGKA. The dojo was opened in 2008 with the help of Sensei John Lambert (Chief Instructor of Scotland) teaching a variety of age groups from 5 years and up in the training of traditional Okinawa Goju Ryu Karate.
The classes are on Wednesday and Friday evenings at Glenwood High School Glenrothes Fife , in the dance studio and are open to all ages and abilities . The Dojo is fully equipped for a variety of all round traditional karate training from basic to self defense and various fitness activities.
